Whereas Spiderman had his recent high-tech suit along with his webs, and you're asking me what makes me think webbing will protect him from a fall from space, yet he did Like that high-tech armor with the physical enhancements? Also he did this by cushioning the blow, Jack surivived re-entry, and the impact, without any form of protection asides from a spacesuit(which seemingly burned off before Jack crashed) On top of the fact that it's not like Jack was at the edge of the atmosphere or something, he was literally launched by an explosion from likely thousands of miles away from the earth into the earth's atmosphere, falling at insane speeds. Jack for the most part, had a ordinary space suit(with no indication of it being high-tech or special in regards to resistance to heat or impact) and was propelled at thousands of miles per hour via the concussive force of an explosion that he was grazed by, then slammed onto the earth, his only protection being some space suit equipped with a jetpack. Which is his current standard gear and what makes you think webbing will protect him from a fall from space. There's an uncovered interval that we didn't get a chance to see, the final moments as Jack is already on earth seconds before he hits the ground, there's no way to tell if his suit survived re-entry, and even after the impact, we only see half of his suit along with Jack's visibly damaged clothes.īut he also had protection from his own personal armor along with his web-cocoon. Jack's suit did resist re-entry, Spider-Man's couldn't so he made a web cocoon. Spiderman not only had protection against the heat thanks to Johnny Storm(which Jack didn't because space suits wouldn't be able to resist re-entry) John tells his father that everyone survived, and refuses to accept the credit. After absorbing too much heat, Torch expels it in a powerful punch, slowing their fall down.įinally, the chamber falls into a coast, and a nearby boat helps the crew. During their fall, Spider-Man uses his webs to make parachutes while Torch absorbs the heat caused by their fall. While the station is destroyed, the chamber enters the atmosphere. What are you talking about? HT wasn't even there at all.Īt the station, Spider-Man, Torch and John gather all people in at the deep space sensory deprivation chamber, using it to escape the station's destruction. IIRC he received assistance in surviving that incident from Johnny Storm No his current suit is armor as he can afford that being a billionaire and all. Not only did Spiderman have a LEGIT special suit called the Spider-Armor(unlike jack) After helping the Spartans fight off a robotic army, he was caught in the middle of an explosion of this magnitude and was perfectly Most of what you said made zero sense. Plus, Jack actually has other feats that prove that he is on that level of tier. to create a large impact resistant cocoon which cushioned most of the blow. Spiderman used his webs, the same webs that he used to restrain or bother heavy hitters like Hulk, Iron Man, Thing, etc. His likely burned up in the atmosphere, and there was no indication of the specs of said space suit and whether or not it was resistant to impacts on that level, on top of the fact that it seemingly burned up in the atmosphere before Jack made impact to begin with, when we see Jack actually land on earth all we see is him with his broken helmet(with a bit of the upper half of the suit) and burnt clothes, and he throws off the helmet and walks off like it was nothing. Jack had a future tech space suit during his fall too. It's funny you think the fall from orbit for Jack is more legit than Spiderman's.
